The Van Tatenhove Center for Counseling is a natural extension of the masters-level training programs of the School of Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary. The goals of this clinic are two-fold:
Dr. Stratton is a Professor of Counseling and Pastoral Care and a licensed psychologist (KY) and counselor educator. Previous to his full-time appointment at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2006, he served as an adjunct professor at Asbury University, where he was the Director of the Center for Counseling for 18 years. He is a Health Service Provider/Supervisor for the Kentucky Board of Psychology.

Dr. Hall is Professor of Counselor Education in the School of Counseling. Dr. Hall is a licensed psychologist and a Health Service Provider/Supervisor for the Kentucky Board of Psychology. Before Asbury Seminary, Dr. Hall worked in clinical practice providing psychological testing and therapeutic services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Tasha Mitchell works as a co-clinic manager at the VCFC and oversees the day to day operations of the clinic along with the supervision of the clinics interns. She is also a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Kentucky, and is a full time graduate student working on her Ph.D in Counseling Education and Supervision at Regent University.
Christina Dillon works as a co-clinic manager at the VCFC and oversees the day to day operations of the clinic along with the supervision of the clinics interns. She is also a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Kentucky, and is a full time graduate student working on her Ph.D in Counseling Education and Supervision at Regent University.
